Is there Wi-Fi or TV in the cottages?
No. We have removed everything that distracts you from nature. If you need to get online in an emergency, our reception can help.
What food is served at Thennal?
Our restaurant serves authentic, healthy Kerala dishes, as well as other Indian cuisines and Chinese.
Which wildlife sanctuaries are near Thennal?
Thennal is surrounded by Tholpetty and Muthanga wildlife sanctuaries in Wayanad, and Bandipur and Nagarhole national parks across the border. We can arrange safaris to each of them.
Can you organise treks and sightseeing?
Yes. We arrange government-approved treks to Chembra Peak, Pakshipathalam and Meenmutty Waterfalls, birdwatching trips with a naturalist, and visits to places such as Edakkal Caves, Thirunelli Temple and Banasura Sagar Dam.
Is drinking water provided?
Yes. Purified drinking water is available across Thennal so that plastic bottles stay out of the forest.
